This site is a tribute to Jamie, who was born in Michigan on March 23, 1963. He is survived by his wife & partner of 30 years; Ginger, 2 daughters; Aimee & Allie, 4 sisters; Leslie Monicatti, Terry Hunt, Wendy Schevers & Martha Schevers, and a brother; Mark Schevers.
He is much loved and will always be remembered.

Hello,
I just saw this and my heart sank. I played basketball with Jaime many years ago in the Pacific Palisades league and truly admired him as a kind, thoughtful and happy person. I'm sorry I haven't been in touch after I moved to Washington State. My best to his family, wife Ginger who I also have fond memories of and his children. All the best. If there is a great beyond you know Jamie is there......

You couldn't help but smile when hanging out with Jamie. His big personality and great love of life were infectious, and will be greatly missed. I hope you know that our family will always be there for yours.

At the beach whenever Jaimie and I would see each other, Jaimie would say" It's on now".
Everyone knew, when he had the bal, and if you're not sticking him when he goes under his legs and around, man it was over. That was his signature move and he was the master on the court. He will be missed he was well loved and respected on and off the court. RIP Jaimie, may you find peace and love in God. I know you are on the bball court in heaven. Love you Man!
